For those who are involved in direct selling, I strongly recommend online coaching sessions. As a person who worked in the direct selling industry for over twenty years, I know first hand that additional training is needed in order to be successful. This is especially the case for those who are involved in direct selling in this current economy. When I first began my direct selling career in the early 1980′s, it was pretty easy to make a sale because there was not a whole lot of competition. In addition to this, the economy was a lot more stable and most people during this time had a full time job. From a selling perspective, this also meant that most individuals had a higher level of discretionary income to spend on purchasing products. Today however, the economy has become very unstable and there is also a higher rate of unemployment. It is for these reasons that I feel online coaching is needed for direct selling agents, because it is much harder today to make a sale.
